E2 - PTZ Elevator Pedestal

E2 is the latest member of the Aura PTZ eco-system and provides two levels of elevation column, E2 and E2S, to suit all applications.  An impressive payload means it is perfectly suited to support even the larger payloads including the PTZ, teleprompters, and optional P2 pan platforms.

Seamlessly integrated with the TR-XPTZ controller and the P2 panner, E2 gives the operator full control over the height of the camera over wide range of lens heights . Movements can be controlled through simple joystick operation, or as part of a shot storage/recall system.

Shot recall movements are managed simultaneously with the other axes (depending on the PTZ capabilities).

Like the P2 panner, the E2 is designed to be used with the TR-XPTZ controller forming a high-performance combined camera channel with the third-party PTZ.  However, both P2 and E2 also support Sony’s VISCA protocol enabling either device to be used in basic PTZ setups with third-party controllers, compatible with VISCA.
