TG-47
Product Description
The TG-47 is a compact head with a high payload to weight ratio and exceptional performance. Based on the universally tried-and-tested TG-27 core systems with several key mechanical and control system enhancements, the TG-47 is able to support an impressive 22kg (48lbs) while still achieving the fine on-air control and wide range of control capabilities you would expect from a Shotoku head.
The head is ideal for any robotic camera studio where a teleprompter is required but the camera package is based on today’s popular compact box cameras with ENG lens. It is also perfectly matched for use with Shotoku’s SmartRail systems, especially those using ceiling-mounted tracks and elevators.
The TG-47 is compatible with the entire Shotoku range of control systems and robotic elevators / rails. The head can be used with the MicroPDU or the standard PDU depending on the application and final positioning of the head. A convenient central connection panel provides all input and output connectivity in a single place, positioned to allow maximum freedom of movement of the head while in use whether mounted upright or inverted.
As with all Shotoku robotics, the TG-47 supports optional dual redundant IP control ports for fully redundant networked systems, as well as VR/AR data output over IP using standard protocols for use in any VR graphic environment.
The head may be mounted upright or inverted, making it perfectly suited to studio floor configuration (on a tripod or small pedestal for example) as well as wall or ceiling mounted with a suitable bracket or support.
Like all of our robotic camera heads the TG-47 is designed for on-air use with smooth and precise control. The head has all the CMC motion control electronics built into it, with easily removable two-part covers for simple maintenance. Full configuration of the head is achieved remotely over the TCP/IP control network, so physical access to the head is not normally required.
