Product Service Policy
In Principle, Servicing Of Shotoku Products Will Be Provided For Up To 10 Years After The End Of Product Sales.
Our products last for years if not decades and our product service policy reflects that. In principle, servicing of Shotoku products will be provided for up to 10 years after discontinuation of sales. However, actual the actual service period may be less than 10 years depending on the circumstances. The following is a summary of policy limitations:
- After the service period is over, the servicing may be refused.
- In cases where service parts are out of stock, it may take longer than usual to finish the repair.
- In cases where service parts are no longer available, the repair may be done with the equivalent parts. In this case, it may take longer than usual to finish the repair due to the time needed to evaluate equivalent parts for quality and performance.
- In cases where both service parts and the equivalent parts are no longer available, even if it is less than 10 years after the end of product sales, repair may not be provided.
