P2 - PTZ Panner

Shotoku’s P2 Prompter Panner solves the problem of severely limited pan range when using PTZs with teleprompters.

By seamlessly panning the entire prompter/PTZ payload together, total freedom of pan movement is once again available.

Operators can adjust the “pan” angle of the payload as if it were part of the PTZ camera. Tilt, Zoom and Focus control are unchanged of course and, if required, the PTZ’s Pan can still be adjusted within the constraints of the hood size.  But for those important larger pans, the P2 takes care of everything.

Combined preset shots can be stored and recalled synchronously with the PTZ (depending on the PTZ capabilities) and what’s more the speed, motion control, on-air smoothness, and long-term reliability are just as you’d expect with a Shotoku remote camera system.
