Our Phoenix system extends the life of existing remote camera systems based on third party heads such as the Radamec HK435 or HK431. The modular system approach enables our customers to chose how much of the existing system to update at each stage - depending on technical need and budget constraints.

The existing head control electronics may also be replaced with our CMC-400 control unit. This uses Ethernet control communication and electrically interfaces directly to heads, lens modules and height drives of the legacy system. In this way a completely rejuvenated control system and network may be implemented without the cost of replacing the core mechanical subsystems which may still be performing to an acceptable level.

In addition to the standard Ethernet connections, Phoenix enabled control systems are equipped with software interfaces and serial ports for direct connection to the legacy RS422 networks.  Alternatively, for enhanced performance and greater system flexibility our miniature Digiport device may be used,  providing Ethernet connectivity right up to the legacy device.

Control of Third Party Special Application Products

Digiport devices may also be configured to support connection to the latest specialist application equipment such as miniature combined cameras and heads or rooftop cameras with environmental accessories.  In this way a single control system is able to manage the Shotoku studio cameras as well as, for example, an outdoor camera on the roof of the building.
