The TG-18 offers exceptional pan and tilt control, allowing complete freedom for on-air adjustments from any of our control systems.  The head combines all the features expected of a high performance remote pan and tilt head (i.e. high accuracy, smooth movement, silent operation and high payload) with a full manual override capability.

The use of high resolution absolute encoders ensure accurate shot storage and ultra-smooth movement even at the tightest of zoom angle - essential for the demanding applications for which the TG-18 is intended.   When used with our TR-T advanced control systems the TG-18 is able to support the unique real-time motion learning feature, by recording precisely the movements of the head and lens.

The head is fitted with electronic clutches to instantly de-couple the motors for manual operation and high-quality adjustable fluid dampers provide the smooth, variable resistance required for precise manual control.   Quick release brakes and a tilt paddle locking mechanism to assist camera mounting and de-mounting are included.   No referencing of any kind is ever required (even at power-on) and when switching between manual and remote there is no head movement whatsoever.
