The TE-23 has a low profile so that, when combined with Shotoku pedestals, it is easy to make the low angle shots desired in many studio and sports applications.  Not only does the continuously variable hydraulic drag system ensure optimum operating feel, the unique balance mechanism using our Crescent technology provides perfect counterbalance with the widest balancing range of its kind.  Ergonomic design ensures that access to the essential controls such as brakes and locks is always easy. 

The camera mounting system is a lockable V-wedge design for secure fixing as well as rapid changeover whenever required.  The head is often combined with our TP-80A or TP-90 pedestals but may also be mounted on our larger tripods like the TT-17 or TT-64.
