Our company is built on over 50 years experience of precision engineering in applications as varied as production machines, high grade steel test pieces and of course, Broadcast TV.

We have been supplying manual studio pedestals, heads, tripods and all sizes of cranes, since the launch of our broadcast division in Kawasaki in 1961.  As the division grew and our experience in all areas of studio production grew with it, we expanded into more advanced electronic-based systems.

In 2005 we took the strategic decision to create a completely new, UK-based, broadcast robotics manufacturer as a wholly owned subsidiary of Shotoku Corporation.    Shotoku UK is located in Staines in south-west London,  close to London's Heathrow airport.  Since 2005 the company has expanded greatly and several management, operational and technical staff with decades of experience in broadcast robotics have joined providing great continuity with long-standing customers. 

Today, Shotoku is a world-leading supplier of broadcast robotics, with customers across the world enjoying the high levels of technical performance and dedication to customer service that were the core values of the founder, over 50 years ago.
